    Same here.... the only thing I can land is a Cessna 172 and lower. Have never once
    landed a jet of any kind without 100% loss of life :p:p Can take off in them and fly
    just fine - but I guess that part doesn't really matter if you can't land!

    But yeah - I've been at it since the mid 90s myself.

    Only sim I've ever used is the free one with Google Earth. Either a 172 or an F16...I can't control the F16 that well on my laptop controls, lol.

    I've seen some homemade cockpits running Flight Sim X and huge projectors in front of the windscreen.

    I fly in the sim exactly once a year because that is what is required. It just seems like a switch flipping exercise, the only real value is the ability to practice emergency procedures that they won't let us do in real life.

    Pretty much every other day with me. I don't have an opportunity to mess around with a 737-700 in real life. I do enjoy the procedural side of it, especially the start up checklist.
