Anyone else get a stomach flu this week?

Not familiar with the stomach flu. I havent seen any sick people around here at all though now that I think of it. Maybe the germs know to stay away from ROC. Hope you and the family feel better soon.

 

Join the club! Left work early yesterday, stomach has been upset, to put it nicely. Nasty flu. Just take the laptop to the toilet. Wireless internet is the best...Hope u feel better, oh and eat a banana. Good for the stomach flu

 

Went through our family mid-december, I think we got it early.

 

No barfing but have some wierd virus. Had a sunburn rash last week & now the joints in my hands are sore & swollen. Temp is 102 for 2 weeks now.

 

and you haven't gone to the hospital why??

Does it feel like you have food poisoning? Because I caught something on Monday. I threw up every hour or so for about 10 hours.

I thought it was food poisoning, but now i'm not sure. Everything I ate that day at least someone else in my family ate, but no one else got sick. So maybe it was the stomache flu?

I got up Sunday with the world's most insane headache and threw up several times (one of them while on a commercial flight). Lemme tell you, it's NO FUN being away from home in a strange place, throwing up each time you drink a glass of water.

I didn't actually FEEL sick, though. I got home, slept for a little while and then was fine and have been since. My entire body was aching for a few days afterward (from all the heaving).

Weird.

poor little guy. Make sure he stays hydrated. I got really really dehydrated once when I was sick and it was noooo fun.

 

I had a minor version last week. Hope everyone gets better!

 

I had a serious stomach flu my freshman year. I remember it hit me at track and I went behind the football shed and puked my brains out. Then after that went home and threw up until I couldnt throw up anymore. But my body still tried to throw up. Ugh, dry heaves are no fun. IIRC i threw up over 30 times in a span of 3 days. Hope everyone here who has it gets better

I had something right after new years but got over it rather quickly. for those that are suffering from the flu, I offer my uncle's sure fire flu cure concoction.

2 tbs Honey
4 oz Apple juice
2 oz Pineapple juice

****IMPORTANT*****
Mix these sweet items together first!

After mixing add the following:

1 tbs Habenero Cayenne Pepper
2 tbs olive oil
3 Garlic cloves
2 tbs Apple cider vinegar
The juice of three limes

Combine all ingredients in blender.
Drink a portion, gargle some before swallowing. This makes about an 8 oz drink.

Say what you want, I've heard it all before but it works for me & the people I've given it to. It doesn't taste great but some things that are good for you have a drawback anyway. The cayenne pepper will help sweat it out & clear your system, but if you not used to it. IT WILL GET YOUR ATTENTION.

I did have one all day Saturday. Even got dizzy from it.

 

YES! Worst headache I've experienced. I was actually sick on a saturday, but then sunday I had a killer headache that lasted from like when I woke up till about 8 o'clock at night. Pain killers did nothing.

My mom said it could of been from dehydration after having the flu. So I drank lots of water and it EVENTUALLY went away.

 

Got it last week, over it in 2-3 days.

 

Do you need to finish the whole glass or just a little??
