Anyone else go riding this morning?

Yep, me too. I just got the Guzzi back from the dealer, who finally installed my first round of mods- bar risers, argal adjustable footpegs (whoa, first time i've ever had a bike that really "fit" comfortably), stucchi X-over and Staintune cans, regulated by a PC.
I love this bike. Ride was a little eventful at first- i shifted a mile or so down the road, and thought, gee that was a sloppy shift, even for me- next time i went to shift, the shifter peg just wasn't there! I managed to downshift using my foot on the lever itself, turned around and found the peg sitting out on the road a 1/2 mile back- it obviously had not been properly tightened (dealer must have assumed assembly was tight as delivered- factory probably assumed installer would tighten)- so i had my first "road fix" with the help of a guy in the adjacent town who got me a bolt and a bunch of washers. Almost good as new. I'm not in love with the dealer anyway, so the bike will henceforth get serviced elsewhere. Otherwise, an enjoyable ride, with a slight interruption....
I agree- it was absolutely gorgeous today.
