Two friends from here are going. Could be more people from here, but those two guys and their families are heading down for the weekend.
This will be the first one that I have missed for a while but if I do end up going I will go Saturday morning and leave after the race, normally we are up there for a week at McPhillamy Park
Who's going to win might be an interesting subject... Hard to go past a Team Vodafone car... or an FPR car... an SBR unit may surprise however.. getting ready for their switch to Mercedes Benz bodied AMG-engined V8Supercars in 2013
I'm in transition phase Wes. Too old to party (ok, to stay in a tent, but don't let a good story get in the way of the truth ) and yet my boys are too young to take. Will continue saving to buy a HSV when they are in their teens.

I understand the whole 50th anniversary theme this year but I am surprised 888 were allowed to have the livery on Craig Lowndes car. The infamous "V" on the bonnet clearly represents the old Malboro sponsorship days. Maybe I'm being to picky??? Wes, it certainly looks like the amenities have been improved. Are you camping there? I went a few years (1992, & 2000-2003) and camped in the area behind the pits. Was great, the old format of top 10 shootout at 1pm on the Saturday, used to go over to the Chase and on race day go to turn 1. Enjoy.
Casey Stoner (whoever he is) was just on the bathurst telecast. My goodness, he looks like a young boy!
Just spotted Gregg Hansford in the last segment. Poor guy. I watched them pull him out of the car. Quite unpleasant.
