BIG SCREEN TOSHIBA. 2 SUBS. 9 SPEAKERS. :)
haha. i found a bunch of flowers, so i figgered i'd take them to a chick and get her on my good side. i select the flowers, target her, hit the "use" button, and SLAP her silly with them. i wasn't expecting that... i guess she wasn't either, she ran for the hills. oh, funny how GTA:VC had to be called back to take away the ability to hump hoes, when it's back in this one... and it adds to your "sex appeal". i guess the OFLC realized that's only 1/1000th of what's so wrong with this game... my new favourite hobby is skydiving.
Where's the chute in LS? I got directions, but they were crap. It's supposed to be either the tallest building in the city or the one closest to the Vinewood sign. 2player is the most fun you will EVER have. Do it. Now.
oddly enough, i thought it would be cool to have base jumping in it, then 10 minutes later i found the airport ticket machine... get on a plane from one city to another, then BAIL. of course, i like to steal jets, fly them to their operational ceiling and bail. every now and then you survive the fall, i've even felt "butterflies" in my guts a couple times doing that. don't know about jumping off buildings yet, all i've done so far is free bungee jumping... no strings attached. that's what late night ads tell me too... sadly my friends have better things to do than sit up with me at 4am playing video games.
All my sisters friends have it (or so i've heard) and they are 12. I think they should warn parents about it before they hand it over. I just got Ace Combat 5, so i'll be playing that for a while. No time for GTA
Lil questions ... Is the city larger/really different than Vice City? I'm bored of that town, now!Are there more/different cars? More/Different weapons? Really thinking about pickin' it up ... still love Vice City ...
The city is alot larger than Vice City. Ive heard about 6 times larger. There are alot moer cars/weapons..... the variety is surprising There are more weapons, but they are essentially the same.
You're right! The San Andreas maps are so cool - It's all westside gangsta **** in Los Santos (LA), then you got your San Fierra (San Francisco), and your Los Venturas (Vegas). It's the best idea ever for a game. The driving dynamics are fast and SICK! They took a page from Project Gothem II for gameplay. It gets fast nice and quick when you get in a car and punch it!! I was surprised that the bikes I tried (including some kind of sport bike) didn't seem as fast as in vice city, but again the wheely and stoppy controls are much improved. Besides the driving, the rest of the game doesn't seem hugely improved, but check out how you can sneak up behind someone with the knife.
i luuuuurve the nitro hit, so need for speed undergroundish. oh, and as for the bikes, wait till you get a hold of an FCR 900, those things rocket...
Hey GTA gurus ... just a little Vice City question ... WTH is a "Baggage" for a car? It's the last on my list, and I just can't seem to get ahold of it!
Goto the Airport and it should be the luggage carts that you can sometime find parked around or driving around the airport. I think they are the right ones....
Wow that was fast!!! I tried these, as I thought they were too ... but no! They're called Luggage Carrier. I still brought them back, and they definitely didn't want any of it. I drove back the little cart alone, it wasn't towing luggage ... if that makes any difference.
You might find that the referrence to "luggage" might actually be to "luggage carrier". I dont think that there are any other similar vehicles in VC. I may be wrong
That's why I drove the thing all the way to where you're supposed to drop it, and they said they had already too many of it ... so it really isn't it! I just checked GTA sites, and they all mention the Baggage Handler, which is what we're talking about (my bad in the earlier posts, it's Baggage Handler indeed, and not Luggage Handler) ... and I've it to the garage where I'm supposed to drop it, and they definitely do not want any of it.
How do you pick up a hooker in this version? They come up to the car asking you if you want a good time, however they never get in.
Press the right direction on the d-pad..... The right direction gives a positive response to questions asked to CJ The left direction gives a negative response
Hahaha i remember that mission. Ahh how far ive come since. Just you wait Pat, there are some awesome missions coming up!
yea there is itscalled the Bullet, well anyways ive been playing alot now im at 50% done with the game, and now im bored of it. How far are you guys?
Yeah there is a GT40 look-alike in the game. Found it quite early in the game. Its sitting in the front yard of a garage early on in SF. Near the airport. When you get to Los Venturas, you will see them by the dozen. Also look for the R34 skyline lookalike. Which fishtails quite good. Im about 45% through. And yes im getting kinda bored of it.
hmm, i'm probly around that and feeling similar, what's with that? i think my problem is that the missions have been fairly fun, and i've just enjoyed progressing through the game. but now i'm up to some of those hard-core missions that are nigh on impossible to complete successfully. and the worst thing is it might be a mission that takes 10-15 minutes to get to a certain point in, then it becomes impossible, you fail, then you're left 200 miles from the start point and couldn't be bothered going back. i'm not a big fan of reloading a game everytime i mess up, i like the whole dealing with consequences thing, but some of these later casino missions can be downright frustrating and just not fun. there's so many other things to do, but i wanted to get through the storyline, i didn't want it to get to a stage which hearkens from games of old where fun wasn't a factor, it was just a matter of making every stage more difficult than the one before it. i mean i paid $100 bucks for V8 Supercars on the PC several months back. i played it for 3 or 4 hours and realized that while the cars and physics were decent and whatnot, the game just wasn't any fun whatsoever, so i chucked it in the corner and haven't seen it since. if i want frustration i'll get out there and drive in peak hour traffic. otherwise there's not much to complain about, just the one thing that bugs the crap outta me is the level of police presence sometimes. on a mission you can sustain a single-star wanted level as just cops on foot will come after you, but as soon as two stars are there it's frustratingly difficult to focus on your task as around every corner there's 3 cop cars.
Yeah the level of police is pretty annoying, i must admit. I dont know what it is about GTA SA. I think i just overloaded the GTA experience when i first opened the package, so therefore im a little over it. And to honest, that dosnt feel good. I know that there will be a LONG LONG wait for the next episode in the GTA franchise, and i feel bad that i am over the chapter so damn quick. Otherwise, there are still amusing things to do..... But they are running out fast.... I dont mean to sound like a whinging *****, but it wouldnt be half as bad if it didnt take SA 2 years to come out after VC.
