Anyone else submitting an application for the Mustang GTD?

Got same message- fingers still crossed (but realistic about not being a social media maven)

 

I got the same email and it looks like every non-poker chip recipients got the same email (per the mustang GTD forum). I don't think Ford has enough time to review more than 7000 applications from US and Canada, not counting those from the ROW.

 

Yeah, it is purely because they are not done. Nothing to do with status of any given application.

 

Like college admissions: you get < 3 min of their time. It’s a numbers game.

 

I just got the call for an allocation! Aside from the GMA T33, this is the most excited I've been about a car in forever.

 

I wonder if they will wait until all the contracts are signed before releasing final specs of the car and the Nürburgring lap time?

Right now, the only info I have is the dealer through which I'll be buying my car.

 

Mustangs are killing it here at VIR. Sound good, going quick!

You got an email? As far as I know, no none-poker chip recipients got an email notification yet! Hopefully, an email notification will be out in 1-2 days.

 

They should go out today. Unless you were at the Vegas reveal event or the secondary Car Week event, nobody has received an actual, official communication from FMC via the GTD Concierge program that they have an allocation.

I got a phone call last week from my connection. Just got the email this morning. 24 months no flip. Well I will probably never sell it anyway.

When does the order and spec process start?

 

The email just says that they'll follow up with you after receiving your paperwork. Actual production timelines will vary based on spec and other factors.

Lot of applications on this car very similar to the first 2016 Ford GT application.

I am one of the fortunate ones to get allocation on this GTD. Hoping we see great numbers from the Ring.
