Should Ferrari be obligated to clear up silly rumors about the limits on their cars?

I recently took my mondial out for a light Sunday drive. I live in the south of France so it’s typically a very pleasant drive with great weather.
This drive in particular resulted in some serious engine/chassis problems.
As I was carving my way through the Frankish countryside I noticed a very large puddle of mud on some farm land/vineyard.

I always heard from some fellow Ferrari nerds that the mondial was originally conceived as a rally car, the idea of pushing my engine to its limit through some mud made me smile I’ll admit but I never had the guts to do it until now.
I took a chance and said “eh what’s the worst that could happen” it was difficult navigating the unpaved road heading into the puddle but once I got there the car was as happy as a pig in mud, literally! It handled terribly but I had a blast, it lasted about 10 minutes before I heard a loud metallic clanging sound and then a pop about as loud as a gunshot.
The car stopped and I as I got out to examine the vehicle I had severe undercarriage damage and lots of exterior damage.

I popped open the hood, regrettably while it was still hot so I burned my hands pretty bad I noticed the container that held the coolant was steaming and near empty ( I usually fill it with spring water since I don’t believe coolant would improve my driving experience in any significant way ) it was hard to gauge the damage the mud did, eventually I called a tow truck and now I have it at shop getting worked on.

Im just tired of the dumb rumors and speculation within the Ferrari community.
Why would someone come up with the lie that this car was a rally car? Like seriously grow up and enjoy the cars for what they are rather than make up some schizophrenic fiction. Now I’m stuck with a bill larger than a king’s ransom.

    What????

You ran a road car through the dirt and are upset it did not perform like an SUV or off-road vehicle?

(Most SUV's probably don't perform well either, but you might have an argument there.) I have never seen Mondials billed as off-road vehicles.

I like the Mondial for sure, Ive seen some You Tube Videos with the Mondial T, the testers all agreed that its a good car. If Ferrari is going to make a 4 seater, they should consider the Mondial design, the FF is an abomination in my opinion. Im sorry you have had an expensive issue to take care of, with that being said, you have a good car, and you will have many miles and years of enjoyment, I have not doubt. Good luck, and my hopes are that you get your machine back soon !! Stay on the pavement as well !!

TheMainSqueeze does does not live in France. The OP appears to be a spoof and is just troll bait. TheMainSqueeze is also a duplicate account of Ferrarienthusiast71, which is a violation of the TOS.

Just for discussion -- is this a euro thing (where rally events and rally performance cars are more popular)? I can't recall "being a rally car" being used as a marketing point for Mondial (or any F) at any time in the US?
