Anyone ever claim to own a Ferrari but didn't actually?

Plenty of people have made that claim on this site!

 

We have had a fair number here.

 

I like watching people at the BMW display at the philly international auto show. You can just tell they are faking it.

 

I had the reverse happen. For about 3 weeks I was in charge of a 360 Spyder owned by a friend and despite all my protests to the contrary everyone I ran into thought it was mine. It's been 5 months and everyone in my building is like, "where do you keep the car nowadays?"

 

What an idiot! What would he have done if she said, "let's go to your room" or something? "Ok sure, but I think I'm going to leave the 360 here and we can go in my pontiac". How did he think he would get away with that at all

 

easy. Get her really really drunk... duh

Well sort of not qute a ferrari but its rival.

I remember back in my last year of highschool I saw my first real Diablo, It was red and was owned by Mario Andretti. I took pictures of it and with me standing next to the car and such.

There was a girl that i had a serious crush on but she didn't like me very well and made my last year of school a living hell. I got my revenge, as soon as I got my pictures back, man I was walking around saying thats my gradutation present and I would be getting a Lamborghini, She didn't believe me until I got the pictures out and she couldn't believe it, her face was in total disbelief. With me standing next to the Diablo and me sitting inside of it and also it was taken in a housing area i mean it looked real.

I said how do you like me now!.

Also all those bullys who claim they owned Skylines but didn't have proof, I made them look like a bunch of idiots when I showed them the pictures of me standing next to the Diablo and said it was mine. I was the big talk at my school just before the end of the school year, I was getting phone numbers from diffrent girls(I Never called them back) people wanted to be my friend and also where fallowing me home from school and most important nobody was no longer trash talking to me, I basicly gained all the respect and fame overnight at that school those last days I was there. The hole thing ended after gradutation.

 

Just this morning I was putting gas in my 400i and a friend (who I don't think knows about the Ferrari, I don't exactly broadcast it around) was driving by and asked me what I was doing. I told him that I was watching it for someone and he said, "That's great, I get to watch other people's dogs and you get to watch other people's Ferraris!".

I had a good chuckle over that one.

I might have to fake that I own one so I don't have to pay the $10 cover charge at the Wynn.....

 

Once at hooters, the guys 2 tables over were telling the girls that the ferrari outside was theirs. I happened to have known for a fact that it was not theirs because it was mine. I was like, what a group of idiots. But who am I to judge their game.

at work people know i spend way too much time on this site but no one knows i own a ferrari. so we were talking about stuff and as the conversation turned to this site, i said "ferraris aren't as expensive to own as you might think...i have two." no one believed me. i didn't reinforce it, but my coworkers thought i was kidding. oh well.

thats hilarious because its happend to me before when i had my Lotus i had ppl around not knowing it was mine (this was back in higschool) tell girls its their car until ppl would then see me driving it and all those idiots would feel pretty bad and ashamed

Can you imagine making in excess of 8,000 posts on this site and they don't even own a Ferrari?? What's up with that?

My guess is Porsche/Kia owners wantobe's
