Anyone ever go to HRP?

    I know, I know. F-Cars aren't "built" for drag racing (or thats what I read in a lot of the threads on here). I understand that much of the F-Car experience is something you have to experience by riding and driving the cars. But, I just wondered if any of the Houston area owners ever drag raced their cars?

    I've heard from a few of my friends that there are the occasional "sprited drives" out on the North Side that a few of them have participated in.

    I live fairly close to HRP, so I just wondered if folks ever come out?

    Use to see a yellow '98 SV w/NOS there every Friday about 5-6 years ago...Have'nt been around there since then:)

    I saw him there a few times also.

    From my understanding he was the owner of several local gas stations in that area. Don't know if he still has the car. I saw it the night it was rear ended as he was turning into the parking lot. It tore the rear bumper up, and munched the back end up in one spot.
