A little update: Changed the windshield keyboard passcode today. So, the factory code is C 0 # then 123456, the steps to change the passcode are not correct in the included manual.

    1. We can't make the brake lights come on without turning on the power to the ignition, so, connect a jumper wire from a constant hot wire to the blue wire at the brake pedal switch. Now the brake lights work when you press the pedal.

    2. Press the brake pedal and press and release the unlock button on the remote. check and see if the blue light is lit on the keyboard, if so go to next.

    3. enter 123456, blue light will flash enter the new code (6 digits long). The light will go out. Now test it out, Lock the car and the blue LED will start slowly flashing. Now, Press C 0 # and the new code. Doors should unlock and the car will start without key or remote in area.

This is a great feature, if you leave your key in the car and the doors lock behind you. This could happen if you hook up the door sensors because the doors will lock behind you if you leave the car running. I think I'm going to complete the install with the door lock sensors and horn. It adds many features.

Also, for those concerned about battery power usage, it automatically goes into power saving mode after 36 hrs or you can put it into this mode by locking the car with the remote when you leave the car. It just disables the auto sensing feature, all other functions continue to work.

I will let you'll know how the red button option turns out. I'm looking at one on EBay for about 20 buck. It's the Nissan button that is white but turns red once you apply power. I will have to figure out what wires have to be plugged in (it has 7 pins on the back).

Total cost for this system is around $200.00. Not to bad for all it does. If anyone has question please just ask on this thread, so everyone can share the info.

Your welcome! I think it's really nice to be able to operate the car without needing a key, kind of brings the car into the 21st century. :)

Well, it worked! Just had to figure out the wiring on the back. It went from 4 wires on the original button to 8 wires on the Nissan button. It looks so much better than what came with the kit. I found it on ebay for 22 bucks! I had to know if I could make it work before I buy the red button that is exactly the same size and wiring. So, once I get the red button I will just resell it..

Well, for those that have followed this thread, I got it completed. Including the door close sensors. I have to add diodes in between the 2 wires but this is the wires you have to connect too. They're located behind the fuse panel on the passenger side. They are the brown and the brown/white. Just use an ohm meter and look for continuity when you open and close door. There is only 1 wire coming from the control box and 2 wires that you connect to the doors (1 driver (brown) and 1 passenger (brown/white)) hence the diodes.

Just an update for those that would like to do this. I had to move the RFID sensors due to reception issues. Seems being mounted under the dash is to close to metal objects and the reception was terrible. I moved one the steering column, attached to the plastic housing and the other was moved to the center console behind the radio. I can now move anywhere around the car and it doesn't lose signal. Before it would sometimes lose its signal and the doors would lock. Not a big deal if your windows were down. But it did lock me out one time when they were up and had to unlock it with the keypad.

    Dear gaw111:

Thank you so very much for this wonderful write-up. Inspired by it, I did buy, separately though, the "Keyless Start" similar to yours and the Scytek G20-C "Keyless Entry", all for about $80...
If I may, I have some questions to which I would appreciate your commentary. Specifically, the other side of your "Keyless Start" has 5 wires:
    1) Can unlocked Input Line
    2) Car control closed signal wire
    3) Allow/Stop Control Interface
    4) The foor brake positive signal
    5) Hand Brake signal

Would you be so kind to mention what wires you connected to these - with emphasis on the latter 3???

Also, did you connect the "Dome Lights" to your "Keyless Entry" and if so what wire did you use on the passenger's footwell cluster of your F348???

In addition, did you activate the remote starting, (via Aux 1/2) and if so, what wires did you use???

Thank you for your kind attention to the matter!!!
