I'm in the market for a 512TR. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the Red 1993 for sale on ebay from Marietta Georgia? The car has spent a lot of time in the rust belt (PA and WI) so normally I would avoid it. Just wondering if anyone has seen it?

I'm in California, so my preference is a local car. That way it is the buyer's responsibility to have the car pass emissions before the sale can be complete. Any leads would be appreciated.

I was looking at this car a few months ago before it was being brokered. Owner is a collector and is a nice guy. It is a runner which is a big plus. I didn't get a chance to go look at it because I ended up finding a perfect car for considerably less. Wouldn't worry about the so called rust belt LOL. almost all of these cars have been garaged all their lives and not driven in salt or snow.

You may try the SE forum. Marietta is basically part of Atlanta, so a call to Ferrari of Atlanta (678)802-5000 could point you toward a good inspector or even them. They may have records as well. Kevin Connors is the service manager. Has always been helpful.

thanks for the tip, but probably not the car for me. A low mileage car wouldn't make a lot of sense for me since I plan to put 4000-6000 miles on the car per year. I would also like a car that I could put some work into. New upholstery, wheels, brakes, suspension, exhaust, audio, repaint, etc.
