Anyone out there know about this car, currently listed on ebay? The link is:

This interior color (light gray/blue) does not look familiar to me. I'm suspicious of the photos because the dash/console look warped/bubbled more than they should. I have heard some atrocious things about this dealer (Toy Store of Connecticut) being dishonest, misrepresenting cars, etc. Anyone know more about them?

I hesitate to spend close to $100k buying a car on ebay, but I like the color combo in this '98.

I would need some questions answered and a ppi even before I would think about placing a bid. The ad said its a 98, but in the remarks it states that it is a 96. The interior looks rough and it doesn't say when or if it had the 30k service.

If that is the Correct VIN, it's a '98.
I have read Negative Feedback on this Site regarding them.
I'm sure that F-Chatters that have a relationship with them will soon comment.I would wait for their Feedback before proceeding.

Toy store had bad reputation in late 90s and early 2ks, however I belive it was the one located in FL and now owned and operated by new people under new name "New toy store".

Not familiar with one in CT, but my guess is it could be under old toy stores management team since the name is same.
I could be wrong, however, I would not even deal with anyone I do not feel comfortable or safe specially when buying ferrari.

Ever notice how every "no reserve" auction seems to attract a ton of first time bidders, who bid over and over, despite the fact that there is no reserve?

Why not just put a reserve, and save yourself the trouble of planting bidders in your auction?

If your spider sense is tingling ... keep looking.

I agree, titanium is gorgeous on an F355, but I think it was a popular enough color that you can find another.

If it was my checkbook, I'd buy from one of the more well-known dealers and look for a car where someone cared enough to keep it looking its best. You might see if the car doesn't sell, and then go have a look and get a reputable independent mechanic to inspect it.
