Has anyone find a reasonable cup holder that fits a 355? I don't want to replace my ash tray with the CF one. I've seen some that clip on to the center AC vent but I don't know if that is such a good idea. Really looking for something that would fit in the center console flat "tray" area between the seats. Something that fits in that area but can be easily removed without the need for any attachments.

Anyone found anything that works? I can't do the long drives with out my coffee or diet coke.

I happen to like this one but have yet to see one available to purchase.

I saw it in an ad. Anyone seen one of these on the road and know what it is/where it can be found?

I've seen different ones on ebay that clip on to the AC vent. I'm more concerned with breaking the vent fins with this style.

I would be very concerned about that.

And I am concerned about the 348 guys pulling out the hair dresser pictures based on this thread :)

I see several on Amazon. The one the wedges between the seat and console like the above photo, one that would sit in the "tray" area and several that clip to the AC vent fins. Decisions, decisions.

it is rumored that somewhere in the world exists a 'hello kitty' Ferrari that is full of cup holders. But, this is just an unconfirmed rumor....

Well, we have a very good rebuttal to that, in that the only hairdresser I'm aware of on this board actually drives a 348 :).

what I find truly fascinating is that while the Ferrari organization was able to genuinely recognize the 'American' market and [their] way of 'thinking'......they passionately refused to include .....cup....holders.......in the 355. For good reason (thank God, or Science, or whatever deitous recognition you have some proclivity toward) . IT'S A ..F'ING....SPORTS... CAR!!! I, for one, completely and fully resonate with Ferrari on this philosophy. For perspective, I personally own a Toyota Tacoma as one of my daily drivers, and how many cup holders does it have???? 13!!! yes, thirteen cup holders. What can we conclude? Well, the Italians see us as stupid and the Japanese see us as really incredibly thirsty. :)

This one fits mine perfectly. It is soft, something like "rubber" maybe.

Where the hell is that supposed to fit in a 355? From the look of the ad, it fits in your "existing" cup holder. Seeing that there isn't one, I don't know how this would work.

I'm leaning toward the one Loser uses. Seems to get the job done.

Who cares that its a sports car. Maybe us Americans are too thirsty but my car is for driving not sitting in the garage. On my next 300 mile run across the desert, i'd like somewhere to put my drink. It's hot out there.

For years in my Porsche I used something called an Ultimate Cup Holder. Suprisingly simple and it didn't take up any arm rest area.

The wedge is great because you still have access to the tray below it, and it just pulls in and out easily. The cup area on mine is fairly deep, so unless you have a large big-gulp, your drink won't fall over. If you do have a large big-gulp, you might want to put a ring of foam in the holder to get a better grip on the cup.

Italians do not think about what it is like driving in a desert. They don´t have one in Italy. But they have a hot climate too, so they just stop at the Autogrill (you can find it every 50 km on the Autostrada everywhere in Italy) and they have a 2 minutes stop for a ristretto, some aqua con gas and a quick fill up for the car. Then they blast out in a cloud of tyre smoke onto the road again for some high speed motoring. They never think of cup holders. Avanti!

That explains why I detest cupholders in ANY car--I'm Italian.

No liquids (or food) in my car.

Cars are meant to be driven & not used as a picnic table.

No, I am not fitting this into any cup holder. I use this because I do not have any.

I simply locate it into the console channel area. The longer side of it sits in the direction vertical to the console. The length of the longer side equals the width of the console channel. The height of the holder bottom is lower than the depth of the channel.

My 355 happens to be in the body shop. If it still confuses you, will try to post the picture when she is back.
