    Darron,

These are the guys who have the full kit - plugs in to the existing wiring harness. Do a search on f-chat and you will find many before and after stories / photos.

click on body kit / spoilers ( on the left ) then click on Ferrari

P.S. What did yo decide to do with the 360 wheels - Did I answer your questions ?? Maybe I created new questions.

well i bought a set of 360 rims, w bridgstones mounted on them. thanks for the info ...
im actually on the hunt for some aftermarket lights that are shallow , so as not to cut any metal behind the 348 lights, for a bolt on bolt off assy . ive got some , but they are mounted to a housing for a honda... looking for just the lenses without housing? i can rig uo the leds for that scenario ...

The "cutting" thing is way overblown. All you are cutting is the thin metal frame that holds the rectangular lights in place. The pieces can be soldered back together in 10 minutes or less. Even a concours judge would never know the difference because the thin frame isn't even visible.

But...you mention the words "cut" and "frame" in the same sentence, everyone goes berzerk.

Did you buy the set on Ebay that recently went for like 1200 bucks?

The lamps used by Gared are original Ferrari parts, which retail in the UK at about GBP80 each (x4).

If you intend to produce these conversions as a business then you will have to make the lenses and that means spending upfront on the tooling.

I am well down the process of producing new replica lenses with LED (and strobe) illumination. These units will be very shallow, just the lens thickness. PM me if you want more info.

husker- i know , it is quite simple to cut. however i think some are reluctant to do this, as they might want to flip flop the lights on and off with stock oe.

The simplest solution to this is take your existing frame down to a sheet metal shop and have them duplicate it for 50 bucks. Then you've got 2!

    Darrin,
Glad to see you are taking the bull by the horns! Please let me know how it turns out as I would be very interested in the round lights with a carbon fiber rear grill?? I do know that Gared does sell that kit with factory lights and the carbon fiber grill for around $2,000. It does require you to cut the grill that holds the square lights but as mentioned by the all knowing Husker, it is merely a hidden piece and can be re-made or fixed?
Also, you had early posted that you would be making a center console piece to replace the stock one. ie: storge compartment, cell phone ect. Keep me up to speed on your projects as both those items would be weclome additions. Good luck on your projects, wish I was as adventurous as you.

    Mike

-cant drive it now because of weather, might as well f*&^% with it.

the prototype console is half done..

have to fit and mold the rear panel for a plug, maybe this weekend.
making it CF though maybe difficult for me , as i hand lay the glass. oncei get the mold , then i can source out a vacuum bag fabricator.
