I was wondering if anyone here has been watching the UEFA Euro 2004.
Italy have gotten off to a poor start, with a very uneventful performance against the Danes last night. The game ended 0-0, but the Italians seemed disjoined in their play, losing wind to what appeared to be a better performance all round by the Danish team. A lot of mid field improvements need to be made if they're going to stay to the quarter finals, Vieri was in horrible form.
In the other groups, France looks quite strong, and I am looking forward to tonight's Germany-Holland match.

Between the 2:30am F1 and the late night football games, this has been a very sleep depriving week!

ooooh yeah! hehe. And Italy is set to play Sweden next up. That's going to be interesting. The Swedes really had good endurance, we shall see how the Italian defence copes (or ties to!)

yeah, I have watched every match, Italy did play terrible, it seemed like the Danes played more "italian football" than the italians. While totti and delpiero need to play better, I think zambrotta is a key, when he plays well then the team plays well. the Swedes looked great with some great goals. There are a couple of threads on the competition in the european sections of the board
