I'm wondering if there is anyone driving from houston to the FQC in Nov or are you guys shipping your cars there? It would be fun if we can get a group of us to drive there.

    Wes,

Looks like I'm going to ship my car to New Orleans. Spoke to several people and they all said that the road is really bad right now with all the constructions on I-10. Lot's of debris on the road and pot holes. Looking forward to meeting you at the FQC. :D

You are correct though, returning from the Baton Rouge LSU Art Car Parade, a lug nut came off a semi and tore my hood up before sailing over my roof, for a moment I thought it was going to hit me in the head!

Valeria says she won't go anymore unless we can fit the helmets in the trunk, LOL!

I guess we can leave her Schedoni Shoe Bag piece at the house.......ROTFLMAO!

The roads are bad for sure. I drove once from SA to NO for the weekend in a 360, it was an adventure to say the least.

    See you in NO.

Who is shipping your car? I need to find room for one more.

Ya'll know the highway I am talking about? It goes thru Vidor, TX, then east......

I'll get the number, it's old IH#30, IIRC to Jackson MS...State of Louisiana has a brochure promoting it, calling it 'The High Road'...you eat lunch at The White House Cafe in Lafayette, then turn south towards NO.........Jim Bowie Museum there in Lafayette, too, as he lived there just before dying at the Alamo.......
