It was nice seeing Clyde , Derrick , Hovik and many others . My first time there at Skytop on Sat . Great collection of classic Ferrari displayed . made some new friends chatted with a bunch of new ones .

Disappointed as I was mislead to understand that Benny's cars were going to be displayed at Skytop based on the flyer that is posted here in the forums . Staff working the event even said they were to be there later on in the day . I purposely attended the event to see his collection that I may not see again .

I have some images from the event ant will post them later on this evening .

It was a nice event, weather was great and I had the opportunity to meet people a few FChatters too.
I had the pleasure of sitting with a small group of fellow Ferrari members at the awards dinner and let me say that we had a BLAST !!! HYSTERICAL...

What really topped it off for me was when I let 6 children, enjoy what its like to sit behind the wheel. The Moms pulls up in the minivan, passenger child expresses his interest and I say,
"Would you like to sit in it?"

    Mom says "really??"
    Child says, "Can I .
    Mom says "sure."

There goes the sliding door letting out 6 kids ..
    LOLOLOLOOOLLLOL
I couldn't break out into laughter cause my face was smilin so tight.
It made their day and the.........Mom.. She got in too.
    Great moment.

Then again on Sunday, after speaking with his Dad on saturday, I gave his 8 y/o son a short ride on the access road leading to the main lodge. He loved it..

Be able to do this really returned me to when I first fell in love with Ferrari, and how I could only dream of even going for a ride or even sit in it.....

    Great stuff.....

No one connected with the event ever posted anything anywhere as to where or when Mr. Caiola's cars would be on display. Only that they would be on display at the event.

The staff working the event would not have made any such claim as no one knew when the cars would arrive or which cars would be displayed. The time, place, and which cars were the be displayed was the choice of the family. We were truely honored to be able to pay tribute to a great man and a true gentleman.

The announcement posted in one of the threads and below states Skytop Lounge and Pocono Raceway . The concours were 2 days and 2 track days at the Pocono . So maybe my comprehension is off but I think based on that flyer it is easy to assume that the cars would be at the concours and Pocono Raceway .I was not able to go to Pocono Raceway because of the RCdolner event on Sunday so Sunday and Monday are totally my fault for missing the cars . I did ask the people at admissions Sat 11 am and one replied that they would be there later on in the day .

My apologies if my statement was in a negative form . It was merely my feelings to know of this man for the last 3 years and never had the Privilege to meet him and see his cars .I have seen videos and interviews of him by RAI TV and the majority of friends in the auto community and dealerships, events and charities So based on the uploaded flyer I took off to Skytop in hopes to catch a glimpse of his autos that are not even conceivable for most to acquire . As an automobile enthusiast , Photographer and Fellow Italian I would have liked to have the Privilege to chat with him .
