How many F-Chatters will be driving their 308 to Concorso Italiano in Monterey on August 14th and 15th?

Me and my son. Not bringing the Ferrari, though, hard to fit a family of four in. Checked on The Quail though for this year, not real enthusiastic about the venue for the Concorso, but The Quail was sold out. Bringing a car?

I'll be there covering the event with my photographer/father in tow. We're going to all the usual events.

While the topic did come up about driving the 328 (by my father), I quickly shot the idea down. I know the car would make it there and back, but I wouldn't. (It's a LONG way from WA to the Monterey Peninsula!)

I went for the first time last year; took the mini van along with the kids, pushing a double stroller. It was great and the kids had fun looking at all the cars! The rows of 308's was just an amazing this to see.

If I do not sell my 308 by that time, then I am definetely going to bring it and go with just the wife and make the drive down, which is roughly about a 2.5 hour drive for me.

Hope to see some F-Chatters there!

Still in Monterey County. The official website says "Monterey Bay."

Might be a good way to sell your 308, taking it down for the weekend. Lots of events other than the Corcorso that it can get exposure at like the historics and the Ferrari show at the Barnyard.

I just had a major done on the qv,I know I'll make it but not sure I want to spend hours looking at other ferrari's on a blustering hot runway on friday at the concorso Italiano, but the wife took that day off just in case we decide to go,I'm leaning towards (it would be fun to just drive the ferrari )so I might be there

That's actually a good idea. That way people can see it and hear it. I hoping to sell it before hand; one less thing to worry about and I can enjoy my time there with the family. Well see what happens. I am getting a lot of tire kickers right now, so I will be dropping the price to hopefully cater to the more serious buyers.
