The weather should be great. I'm planning to take the GT3 for the day this Saturday. (no Ferrari this time) Last time I was there I think several FChatters were running, but I didn't know until later. Hope to see some of you there. Rob? 355C?? Mark McKenzie
I just got my car back today. I'll need a new set of track tires & I'll see what I can do. Edit. Sorry, I forgot that I have already made plans for the PONOZ event at TMS.
I am thinking of going, still deciding between Sat or Sunday. I am going to take my Porsche 968 as it has a Tiptronic tranny and I am still recovering from achilles tendon surgery. Due to the injury I have not been on the track since July so starting with the Tip tranny will help me ease my way back. I have phsysical therapy Sat morning so Sunday is more likely for me.
Their calendar only goes up to November and I don't have Jack's last email handy. I think it's a members weekend. I might stop by Saturday around lunch just to say hi. I'll be coming up 377 from my duck lease in Stephenville.
Dave, It is a member wknd. I was planning to go run at TWS with their new race group, but the Cobra's being de-raced, and I don't yet have a replacement race car. Since I'd already arranged to be gone, I didn't want to miss the opportunity, so I decided to take the GT3 to MSR. I'll just be there Saturday. Rob, is your Challenge car garaged at the track? If you come by, I'd love to take a look at it. I'll email you w/my cell ph# Mark
It's at home, but you can come by the house. I'm only going to be there from 5-6pm tonight, 1-3pm tomorrow, and then all day Sunday (except 1-4pm).
Dear MotorSport Ranch Member: The track is being run clockwise for the next three days this weekend December 10-12, 2004. Come out if you need some stress this early in the Christmas season. The 2005 schedule will be mailed shortly, but every weekend (Fri-Sun) in Dec 2004 and Jan 2005 is a member weekend, with the exception of Friday and Saturday, Dec 24&25 which is Christmas and Christmas Eve day. Also, Bobby Archer of German Motor Works wanted you to know about some specials at his place this month. This information is appended to this letter. Best regards, Jack Farr
There is also a Lotus day at MSR tomorrow, but don't think it will be a very large group. Maybe a few Esprit's and 7's, and possibly an Elise or two. I would love to go out there, but I won't get home until late tonight and don't have time to do a thorough check over the car.
