Just got the invite in the mail a few days ago and wanted to see if anyone was going. Also just got this e mail:

We welcome all owners of new and vintage exotic cars to our autumnal Running of the Bulls, a multi-marque event. The day's activities will commence at Snakepit Automotive in Freeport, Long Island, NY, importers and distributors of the full line of Superformance Replicas, including the Shelby Cobra, the Brock Daytona Coupe, and the GT40.

A buffet breakfast will be set up for all guests at Snakepit Automotive. There will be a presentation, Q&A, and a chance to see Bill Ostrower's original GT40.

Guests will be given route maps and goodie bags before we commence the Running of the Bulls, an approx. 90 minute route that alternates between beauty and speed, ending in the wine region of Long Island's North Fork, at Vinyard 48. A Concours d'Elegance judging will then take place, and prizes will be given.

Vinyard 48 will serve an upscale prix-fix Italian buffet. During lunch, a drawing will be held for 12-20 test rides in the Shelby Cobra, the Brock Daytona Coupe, and the GT40. Upon departure, guests will be given a complimentary bottle of wine, a corkscrew, and a t-shirt, compliments of Vinyard 48.

Club membership is NOT required for this event. A fee of $40 per person (incl. tax) will be charged upon registration.

This event will be filmed for video and TV by Ferretti Productions.

Registration closes Oct. 12! Sign up now by going to lamborghiniclubeast.com

How could I miss a Bull Run that starts 1 mile from my parents' house? I didn't get an invite but I'll definitely show up.

    >>> We welcome all owners of new and vintage exotic cars ...

Does Dodge Viper count as exotic car?
If so, I might come with a friend who drives one.

    Me? Not in my definition.
But my opinion does not matter, the organizer's does.
Just want to make sure, before I drag my friend out, and feel foolish among sea of Ferraris Lamboghinis and other exotics.

    You are welcome.
You asked me what I think, just wanted to be polite and replied.

Okay Rick. You are new to the board so MAYBE that is the reason you do not quite understand how this works. The last few posts in this thread and the Soho thread were just pointless. Think before you speak.

--- If you think I do not understand how it works, you can tell me how it works. I was not aware of a rule book to play by, but will be happy to comply.

--- You asked me a question, if it was out of sarcasm or it was not meant as a question, then you made a pointless post yourself. If it was indeed a question, I failed to see what I have done wrong by replying.

--- Elaborate on "think before I speak".
Tell me exactly which post of mine you have problem with, tell me what kind of problem you have, and tell me in your opinion what a well-thought reply should be. Otherwise, I can't help but feeling you were trying to insult me.

All I have to do is go through your post count to show you what posts you have made. I am not here to create enemies but when someone new comes on the board and starts trash talking, of course I am going to react. Maybe you did not mean it and that is okay, but then try to see where others and myself are coming from. Here are a few examples:

I reviewed every post you brought up as examples. I failed to see how any of those was not proper.
Every post was either a legit question, or a truthful reply to what someone else said to me.

You are entitled to your opinion. If you deem those to be pointless, it's your rights. If I do not see it that way, I will continue to post in the same manner.
Although I do think it's strange that you are the self-appointed judge here, to decide what and how I should post.

Lastly, I find it offensive that for the 2nd time you are trying to insult me, by calling me "trash talking".

Btw, I did what you did also, I went through your post count to see what post you have made.
I think you need to reconsider calling other people's posts pointless, but to start exam from within.

    Here are you posts:

--- That is a good one Clyde.
    --- HAHAHA!
--- That was a good one!
    --- Looks like rain
    --- Unconfirmed but will try.
    --- Thanks, I try. ;)
--- You guys are too much! :)
--- HEY I SENT YOU A PM LOL!
--- Eric you are bad! LOL!
--- That is so funny. Very cute.
    --- Your a smart one aren't ya?

I made those posts but you still do not get it do you? You critized members of this board!

"NYC only has 5 Ferrari's to offer"

"Most members here do not have Ferrari's"

    etc.

That is what is meant by pointless! At this rate you won't be here long so why even waste my time.

I am sure you can pin me as a murderer or a terrorist if you keep taking my words out of context.

Otherwise, How did I critize members of the board??

When I said NYC offered 5 Ferrari's, that was based on the replies to the Club night thread, if you counted more than 5 from the replies, let me know, I will be more than happy to re-count and apologzie if I counted wrong.

When I said "most of people do not have Ferraris", that's based on what member's profile indicates. If you go to the member list, and look under the "personal Ferrari" column, you will see most with "N/A". Now, am I not allowed to state an observation that's a fact?
I only posted such, because someone was asking why there is not much response to the NYC car show, I figured if the event is a Ferrari-only event, then maybe most of people here are not owners so they do not want to make POINTLESS replies by saying they are not attending.

It's very strange to me that you found those comments criticizing.

Lastly, after insulting me twice, now you are threatening me with the "you will not be here long" comment. Just an observation.

Well, I guess my "you will not be here long" comment is just an observation too. Good luck!

Why would anyone think an event called "The Running of the Bulls", which was originally Lamborghini only, be limited to Ferrari only?
