Anyone going to the unveiling of the Gallardo SE Thurs night?

relax lol the event only started 8 minutes ago

 

WOW...what a great showing tonight and as always great to see the crew. The Gallardo SE is certainly an improvement over the "standard" version and we certainly proved that the "standard" version is no sloach on the way down the GSP to the restaurant.

Nothing like screaming bulls heading down the parkway in a pack...we must have scared the crap out of many fellow motorists this evening.

Good times...and great to be back in the saddle.

 

Good to hear the car was great. People say its really nothing special and no different from the regular version. I think its cool and visually appealing. What color was the combo? Did u take any pics with your treo?

 

Where are you hearing that? There are 2 owners who took delivery on **********, one of which came from a Stradale and says its equal to that if not better. The changes done are no joke, EVO magazine makes the claim of best Lambo ever in its latest issue.

 

I have heard it from people who are actual current Lambo owners for your information... But from photos and the specs I think it sounds sweet and can't wait to get up and close.

 

A driving instructor, also a current Gallardo owner, drove the SE at the Texas Concorso track event and hands down called it a better car in absolutely every aspect. Will it give a run for its money with the 430 who knows, but get an SE on the track vs. a 430 and my guess it would be very, very close.

Nice Clip! The car sounds bad ass. The website they have is not bad either. The color combos are amazing. My favorite in the Verde Ithica over Black.

The car was green and very highly optioned. The sticker was $215k on it which I thought was a bit steep but then again they are only bringing 96 of them to the states.

Gearing, HP and numerous other upgrades to bring the performance to a higher level. It's certainly not just a visual upgrade....
