Anyone Good At Making Logos?

    I am working on a project to present to the DoD and need a logo made but so far nothing that I make or any of my group members make is good enough. They all seem to be missing something. It is a rather simple concept. The name of our group is RETHINK and I was thinking of something like having RETHINK in a neat font with the dot in the "I" being an eyeball. Everything that we have made with this concept seems to not look serious. Can someone do this? I know it will take two seconds but I apparantly can not make a good one which does not surprise me.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Here's a few seconds of free time, with some quick clipart I had on hand, simple, yet direct. The first one is the eyeball concept. I thought about inserting the "all seeing eye" since this is a DOD project. Very fitting ;) Then I took and modified it a little with a light bulb, because when you think, a light goes on, etc...etc. Complete with a shadow!

    Well, I have no idea what DoD is, but I was just having fun with this one. I liked the colors Gabe used. Well heres my idea:

    Wax, that's a good idea, like a camouflaged RETHINK, and a star like that over the eye.

    Good job Wax. I really like that one too. I guess I will be showing my group all of these tomorrow and should have a choice by then.

    No problem for any of us, aye?

    Green Star was shown for [obvious] military and "pupil" colors - should the "eye" as CMY illustrated - be to their liking.

    Same illustration with a Gold Star shown below - only yellow eyes I ever saw were on American Bandstand, 30 years ago, so, this is for the patriotic rethinkers.

    If this is for the DoD, just use Times New Roman, black, 12pt. They'll love it. ;)

    ha! as someone who did graphics for DOD for a number of years, this is so true...

    I'm surprised there have been so many responses though. People typically pay good money to have logos made............
