I need to replace the boots and it would be nice to have a better lasting version, energysuspension makes a variety of boots, listed by size.
If anyone has a ball joint ( and a tie rod end) on hand to measure maybe we can size them up for our cars...

I measured the old ones I pulled off my '84 QV.

Ball Joint: 18mm largest taper, 46mm top of socket
Tie Rod: 13mm largest taper, 30mm top of socket

    Hope that helps...

    Thanks for the reply!
The Energysystems boots are specified by the stud hole (shaft) size, the base size and the height. They seems to be designed to be slightly compressed in height when installed to help ensure sealing.
If I am understanding correctly, you posted the stud hole and height dimensions, would you measure the base?
