I've been looking for a navigation system for my car- and've settled on the TomTom Go for about $700 - but before I took the plunge I double checked the competition and fell in love with the Pioneer AVIC-N1 - which is a GPS, DVD, MP3, in-Dash 6.5inch unit- but it's at least $1350 on the net... Any help getting it cheaper is much appreciated...

Have you looked at the Eclipse unit already? It has the dvd/nav with a touchscreen, looks very nice. I believe it's the AVN 2454(?)

Thank you very much- will absolutely keep that in mind. I've also found a few 're-manufacturered' models which were sent back to Pioneer, completely fixed 100%, repackaged, same warranty etc for about $250 less ($1075 when it's all said and done)- considering going in that direction...
