Drivers side. Every time I closed it door, it pops out. I guess one of the tabs broke off. I haven't looked much into it. Thought I read that they are hard to come by. I guess I could just bond a piece of plastic to it, but curious what everyone else has done.

    No big deal. Just curious.

Eric, if you remove the door panel, you can drill the plastic from the back side and install a small screw with a washer to hold it in. :)

Had the same problem with my mirror switch. Cut a piece of 1/16" ABS plastic to match the size/shape of the side of the switch, put the switch in place, then used 3M adhesive film to secure the piece of plastic to the side of the switch from behind. The switch is a tiny bit loose since there wasn't a good way to remove every last bit of the free play but it was easy, non-destructive, and is easy to remove if I need to work on the switch.

    Hot glue gun... (kidding)

Real tip, if your tabs are not broken, heat them up with a mini torch, carefully...heat is your friend, and the enemy...

and bend them ever so slightly "out" on the tabs. When it cools after a few minutes (5 min) you can reinstall and it won't come out.

    If it's broke, call Ricambi...lol

I wrapped a zip tie tightly around the switch, so that the tail was positioned at the top (where my broken tab was) and cut the tail short and at an angle to hold it in place.

hasn't been an issue ever since
