Anyone have a line on tickets of any innaguration events?

    Hey everyone, the gf and I just got into Baltimore from New Orleans and will be venturing into Washington DC sometime over the next few days to attend the innaguration. Fortunately we have a place to stay in DC but were wondering if anyone here knew of a way of possibly getting tickets to ANY of the events going on around the innaguration on Tuesday (day or night!).

    We got SUPER close to snagging two ball tickets but the person with them had given them away a few hours earlier. So it looks like I probably brought my tux for nothing :)

    I know the odds are a longshot, but anything would be fun and if there are any ideas of things to do we are all ears!

    If you can't find anything online, best bet would be to just head down there and possibly run into a few scalpers or people selling them on the streets.

    Normally I would consider it, but the last thing I want to do is hand over wads of cash only to find out later on that I was duped into buying fakes.

    I had a line on them for the party at the 8th & I, but gave them up. Sorry.

    I dont know if they only did it that once, but when I was up there in 2000 they did this thing where they had all their rifles neatly stacked and locked up with chains. It symbolized that in our country at least, the change in power means the military DOES NOT need their guns.

    I'm perfectly comfortable being 1110 miles away (according to Google Earth).
