Gee thanks I have, but you can try it. You'll see why I'm asking. I can only read so much about 3445. And quite honestly not real helpful. Just a little condescending. I come here as a last resort to pick experts brains. If you have no info for me, no reply is necessary.

What is your problem with Google?
250 TR #0756 and 412 MI #0744 real easy to find. Besides his famous 250 GTO #3445 GT.
Even I am able to do that, and I always have a hard time to figure out which is the mouse, which is the keyboard and which is the screen.

And these are just as easily found by searching this site.

Josh, I think the point being made is that you could put in a little more effort before asking others to hand over the results of their own efforts. Perhaps a better approach would have been to begin by searching F-Chat, Barchetta, Google, etc, and then once you had compiled a list, you could have shared it here and asked if anyone was able to add to it.

Mr. Cox has expressed a desire to keep his collection private. The fact that Google won't reveal all of them means he (and MPI) have been doing a good job in maintaining that anonymity.

One thing Mr. Cox has in his favor is that there are a lot of notable people named "Christopher Cox." Certainly makes anonymity easier!

Chris is a nice man and a good friend. He does not need publicity on a public site like this one.

Absolutely no disrespect intended by this post, but how can such a high-profile individual who publicly races extremely rare automobiles expect any sort of anonymity, especially on a website like Fchat with such a dedicated fanbase? They call out his name when he races on the track, so he surely can't be too concerned?

I don't think he's too concerned; I think Dyke is just a good guy looking out for a friend.

In reality (and in defense of those here discussing this particular collection of cars), one doesn't publicly display and drive a collection of 8-figure automobiles at numerous enthusiast-packed events (with little signs and placards proudly announcing one's ownership) and then be concerned that these enthusiasts may photograph or discuss one's collection of said 8-figure automobiles.

I think this is an interesting topic, and it's one that I've struggled with for decades.

While the car, in itself, is of interest (for a number of reasons), who owns it is really no one's business but the owner's. And, it has always surprised me how easily this information is displayed, circulated and provided. I can also understand there's curiosity, and these aren't exactly state secrets, but there's no "need to know."

As an owner, I'm often uncomfortable with the connection of the dots. Especially in today's day and age. I'm happy to race and display our vehicles for the pleasure of others to enjoy, but, really, there's no reason they need to know who owns them, how we've earned enough to acquire them, or where they're (or we're) located. I'd like to see less information disclosed, generally, but that's just me.

I also get uncomfortable sometimes when our cars are photographed at a shop. It's not really something that's appropriate (allowing photographs of a customer's car). And, frankly, it's something that I wish there was a stricter confidence on.

I'm not anyone important, but I still enjoy and want my privacy. Sometimes, it gives me pause and makes me not want to show, display or race our cars. And, I know many owners who are far more secretive than we are.

Just fill in a fake name or alias and fake city/state e.g. Cavallino Classic, Pebble Beach etc ;-)

Which is what I have done for years. And, I tape-over s/n and I use a Prova plate for shows.

But, the information is already out there, and the dots can be connected in a matter of minutes with nothing more than a smartphone.

Sorry to ruffle feathers here. Especially yours Marcel. Recently met a good friend of Mr. Cox. We were just talking about his cars but he couldnt really remember what he had. Being a fan of the red cars I knew of a few as I just saw them in Milwaukee and wanted to try to help him remember what he has had the opprtunity of driving. Was only trying to figure it out to continue the conversation. Only found a few of the cars on Google. Was just wondering if there were more. I have learned, participating here, that doing my own research first is the right thing to do. Perhaps I should have worded my post differently. Not trying to pry into Mr. Coxs life or personal business. Just thought it was cool to meet someone so close to a guy with a cool collection. No disrespect intended to anyone. I'm no one in this world. Just a fan and you guys have always been extremely helpful and gracious with your knowledge. My apologies to all.
