    Hi all - just planning my winter maintenance. At my 60k major Continental told me that my exhaust and test pipes had some holes that they welded up, so I'm thinking it's getting to the end of its life span. I sourced some new test pipes, and was considering snagging a tubi for it. My car is a carb 308 w/o cats.

    Comments on sound, loudness, appearance, etc. for this application?

    Thanks for the help/thoughts.

    Don,I am putting my car in for it's 30K this Winter,and am also going to have a Tubi installed. It does sound great on Tod's 328,I know that...:)

    Dave B's 308 with test pipes and a Tubi sounded terrible.

    With the cats and a Tubi, it sounds great!

    Hmmm.....why do you think that was? No way in heck I'm going back to cats though.....

    Don't know why, but it sounded like a Mack truck on steroids, with tin can mufflers.

    With the cats back on and the Tubi, it sounds great!
