I thought only a handfull have been wrecked. And even then I thought I heard that Ferrari had taken them back to be re-built.

WOW. Rebuild? What kind of rebuild are we talking about here? Will Ferrari realign the entire car and make it back to original condition? Or rebuild to a point it's safe to drive, but probably not good to hit top speed anymore? If Ferrari does rebuild those wrecked Enzos then that whole talk about 1 Enzo less is just pointless.

Come on now, judging by his name I would say he is a broker. Why is every 11 year old now an exotic car broker? Wait until this "internet" thing catches on and we don't need middlemen.

I always have a feeling that these orders are placed by cynical purchasers who say something like: "yeah, if you can find me an Enzo for half price I'll buy it." Then this fifth grader goes online frantically trying to fulfill his pipe dream of an easy $200k commission.

YES! He has a MySpace page too!

lol........ I'm not trying to fulfill a dream of making 200K commission.....my customer asked for a wrecked enzo, it wasn't my idea he wants to build a custom enzo.

Because all it takes is an e-mail address, a cell phone, some fast talking and some pictures you find on the web? No licensing, no regulation, no capital, no overhead, no reputation, no sales history, and no warranty history required. See MDM.

I agree about pesky youngsters sending community members on wild goose-chases :)

You make it sound easy but perhaps to be a (successful) classic car broker may not be as simple as you suggest: there is in fact State licensing involved, there are strict regulations, you will need capital if you buy cars for inventory, you will have overhead if you have people working with you, you will need a reputation for knowing the cars you are dealing with, and youll need a well-established sales history to point to in order to define what it is that you specialize in.

Here he is........a website just like MDM. Perhaps if you told the members here what dealers you have sold to or bought from it may help your credibility. Everyone here seems to know everyone in this business.

I don't mean to say that REAL car brokers have none of those things. But it seems easy to SAY you are a car broker on the web while having none of those things.
