anyone have an apple iBook? i need some help!

    My main question: what are some good ibook forums that provide fast answers???? I have a problem with my ibook (again...)

    For anyone who knows macs and can help, read about the problem below.























    I've got a major problem with my finder. When I log into my account, it says that the finder is not running. Also, I cannot access my harddrive. When I try to open a program, as soon as I type anything or click of the apple button in the upper lefthand corner, the program "unexpectedly quits" and I get logged out.

    ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!

    I have finals this coming week and need the files that I cannot access!!

    Have you tried booting from the CD (restart and hold down the "C" key) and then running the disk utility there? Hopefully it'll help you find your disk and recover the data.

    Make a trip to your nearest Apple Store and visit the Genius Bar there.

    They might be able to get your comp running on the spot, or get the files you need off the computer if it does need to be sent out for repairs.
