I'm looking for some deeper insight into the top pic in this thread: http://www.grmotorsports.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=20586 Does anyone have a clue what the deal is w/ this "TR"? Thanks
its a Koneig (sp) body kit usually coupled with a TT kit or some insane engine mods, Popular in the early 90's one of our members has his race car with the side intake setup and i think front nose cone..
Hi, Koenig,indeed... Here's another one, even more modified! I was very very close to buy that car,but finally, thanks to F-chat fellas' advice,I've got myself a older Testarossa...no powersteering,no Motronics,no ABS etc...but full stock! That was the best decision I ever made.... I dont really like the look of that at all. It looks like you would have to take the top section of the spoiler off to open the engine cover!! Am I right? Silly idea!
Hi PAP, You're right,indeed... You have to unscrew the bridge of the spoiler, before opening the hood... It is indeed silly, because the last time somebody unscrewed it,it felt down...hahaha... Paint was damaged,so they had to repaint the bridge... When you look very closely(difficult on a pic,I admit),you can see that there is a slight color difference...no LOL. That's why stock is the best...!! Speedman PS You got the pic's I @mailed to you about the local cops pursuit car?
PAP, You did your homework about the spoiler,OK. But look @ the front lights....where are those babies coming from...? Waiting... Speedman
You're right, dude! But hey,who cares? If you drive by @ 300km/h,nobody will notice it! If you're parked in town, well that's another story, because the "Nissan" stamp is still reliefed in the glass.... Gotcha!! Speedman "Old stock is better than newer modified"
Hi Julien, No drunk, just willing to spent some money,in need of owning a Ferrari "different" then the others... I won't mention his name, but he's a rich and well known businessmen in the ...... business... Speedman
I prefer the first Koenig Competition evolution, the rear wing was more straight like the F40,if I remember rightly it had over 1000bhp on tap Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Stock Ferrari's always look best mate. The front and rear lights on this yellow Ferrari look terrible IMO!!!! I got your email. Nice!! You wouldnt want to try and get away from Cops driving that car!
yah it is a Hamann kit, you tell by the rims as well, they are the 3 piece Hamann Sport rims, plus the tail light insert
Haha they should have just left the full lens and not cover it up...Even someone like koenig couldn't design their own light lol.
I think they wanted to copy the F512 M look by using "bulb style" headlights.. Buy them cheap, and sell them expensive....Yellow car still ot sold...has been 1.000.000.000 times on eBay..... Speedman
