I really do think Duesenberg was probably one of the best carmakers of all time. When I went to keels and wheels (car show in Texas) this year, the duesenberg they had there was so beautiful, perfect in every way. It was amazing how much better the big berg looked compared to rolls royces of the same era.

Oh, and thanks in advance if anyone sends me a pic or two, it really is appreciated.

    Later,
    Ry

Stunning car, congrats on the finish.

Incidentally, what did you think of the Doug Nye article? I thought of you and the P4 and GT40 when reading it.

    Thanks!

I did too. I thought it was very though provoking. I really do feel that anyone who was there on the day knows that an original race car is an oxymoron. How to use a piece of history is an conundrum as well...

A piece of history should be shown, driven, repaired, and cared for lovingly until you croak.

Art Astor has several nice Dusey's but I can't find what I did with the pictures. :(
