well it's probably safe to say that we won't see this Ferrari until this time next year... Or maybe longer.

I too have my eye out for this as well. This past weekend while attending the Itailan Concorso show in Monterey CA, CMC had a booth/tent and they showed off their 1:18 scale Ferrari Transporter and all I can say it's very well detailed and sweet looking in person. However, there's a down side, the CMC reps said that the price will go up due to raising labor costs in China. They also said the transporter will be avaiable fourth quarter (Christmas) timeframe, and who knows, the final price on it could reach $800 to $950 before it hit the market.

I also inquired about the CMC's 250 GT California, and it too should be also hitting the market about the same time.... So save your money if you want them both. The first wave of transporter pre-orders already have been spoken for and CMC isn't sure how many transporters they will produce, but if enconomy stays or goes into the toilet, they might stop production after the first wave...

On the 312 P coupe & spider versions, they probably won't have a production peice to show off until next year some time, as they will see how the 250 GT California's pre-orders do before they move forward with new stuff.

I knew about the rising labor costs in China. I just bought two Eidolon Ferrari's and they were almost $75 more then the ones I bought a year or so ago.
