Very nice car, better than the 6-series. I always liked this as a GT car (only driven once). But gorgeous and has one of the best interiors I've ever seen. Price of this would be more comparible to an M6, but I would take this over that.

We had a 2005 Range Rover that had a lot of gremlins, ie electrical, front diff. failure.... typical British car issues. Should I be concerned about reliability issues, electrical problems?

i don't think so, not on the newer cars. i understand they had a problem with the radio, or something along those lines, on the new db9's, but have since cleared those issues up through uploading software onto the car's computer. but, i agree with everyone else, beautiful car.

The only issue might be the body. To regular Joes it may look like a new Honda Civic. At least the 6 series stands out for all to see. Just some food for thought. Still I wouldn't opt for the 6 series over this car, not at that price {but I'm in Canada}.

That Aston is so far above and beyond the somewhat fuggly looking 6 series! I like the offsetting colored seats instead of the all black interiors in a lot of them. Brightens it up! You have my vote.

My wife is a little bit of a motor-head, not much.
The very first DB9 she saw she started grabbing me and pointing "Look at that! Look at that! It's beautiful!".
She wouldn't do that for the BMW.

Maybe get an extended warranty through AM? Assuming it's still under factory warranty that should be doable.

I agree. The 6 series is a fat joke. The AM V8 is stunning.

Thanks for all of the comments. It is a little strange seeing it at a Toyota dealership. The GM said they are moving into a few " high line" cars. The original sticker from 12 months and 12K miles ago was $138K. I think I will offer $90. From what he was saying, I think they would jump all over it. Should I try for lower? There is another one at Straightline Auto here in Dallas also.

There are a few things in the description that concern me ( lemon law buy back)?????

    Thoughts?

    My only thoughts are:

    (1) that this is one of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen, and certainly the most beautiful to come out in the past 3 or 4 years.

    (2) 138K down to 90K inside of a year and 12,500 miles? I guess the A/M English Car off-showroom dive is not over, after all. I somehow thought that this model might be the one to break that trend. Two ways to look at this - somebody else paid for the embezzlement, and it's now a great buy - or...maybe it is not leveling out quite yet...

Don't bother with the lemon law car, it says all the defects have been fixed, but how much longer does the warranty run?
Vantages are gorgeous, lots out there.Take your time and look around.
    You know you want to!

Always start lower. Start at 85. Be prepared to walk away.
Get the extended warranties offered if its a factor. You can get it at a negotiated cost. Check about existing warranty info.
Astons depreciate like rocks falling. Check out the Vanquish numbers.

Man you guys are good. It has dropped over 33% ( $48,OOO) in one year but the V12 Vanguishes dropped even worse. I think the car looks and drives great for 90K and not near as common as a 6 series or 911. Where is the bottom with these things? If I keep it for 1-2 years I would expect to loose 10-15K but to drop another 50K ( to say $50K) in 2 years would be stupid, but if you look at the 4 year old AMs, that is where they are. They drive great, are great looking but why do they fall like Brit's panties?

I have a neighbor that has one so i see the car regularily and have driven it...as a true sports car, the car is too slow compared to competing sports cars...as far as the looks go,I think it doesnt work as well as the db9 or vanguish,..its just to short and small......and dont forget the term "Reliable english car " is an oxymoron.....even the newer ones have more problems than its other cars in its class..........

These guys sell lots of Astons. There prices are high but they have a good rep.
The Vanquish dropped more than 33% in a year? Are you sure? Most seem to be at ~ 140-160 for a 2003. Weren't they about 220 new?
They do drop very fast right out of the gate, but it slows down. Just be the second or third owner.
Very pretty car, the only odd detail are the braces across the rear window. Just looks weird to me, otherwise stunning.
Won't be 50K in 2 years. Remember they have to price it to get you to buy it. If they wanted 115 you'd probably just go get a new one.
The first year is brutal on all cars(F430 excepted) because there are new ones still available and the dealers need to make the used one apealling.
