95% of the cars we see for PPI's come out clean.

They have, in the past, been the type of Dealer who wants to know what we find, and at times have even offered to address the items found during the PPI or at least negotiate some.

No one is perfect, but I have more good experiences with them than bad.

Norwood is a few miles South of them, or we could help as well, LMK.

Do a google search. I wired the the money for an SL65. Great car. But missing the jack and tool kit, manuals and floor mats. When I asked them about it they said they would take care of it and then quit reterning my calls. Took me 6 weeks to get my title even with daily phone calls which they did not return. I finally sicked the state of texas on them and then the sent me the title.

I will never do business with them again.

I bought my 2005 F430 from Straighline and had the same issue as the previous poster. I was missing the tool kit, tire repair kit and the flash light in the glove box. I just thought that the previous owner was a jerk but now I wonder if there is a trend. Anyway, I managed to buy most of the items on ebay at reasonable prices so it was no big deal in the end.

WOW. At least the four people who purchased their cars from them were in possession of the vehicles so getting the title (either from Straight Line or from the state) should be okay. I wouldn't think the title without the car is any good. I purchased an abandoned pickup at an auction. I applied to the state for a new title and was given one.

Hope those people that purchased the high end cars and don't have the title, do NOT drive them, until they have a title in hand in their name. Somewhere there are titles, for those cars, with other people names on them, perhaps not even in the state of Texas. IF the new "owner's" drive the cars and get in a wreck, that could turn into a real big legal mess quick, especially when your own insurance company finds out you do not have the title, nor know if you may ever get the title. What is the old saying, "possession is 9/10ths of the law". Scary.

Unbelievable!!! Bought my 07 LP640 from them 3 years ago, same scenario as others here. The title took forever, about 3 months to come in, had to call multiple times. Hope my title is ok. Everything were missing from the car, no manual, no tool box, etc. The original sales guy said he would send them to me, never came through. I gave up on calling them after a few times. Sleaze balls!!

I can only imagine that they do this to out of state sales because if I was in the neighborhood and wanted my stuff they would sure be handing it to me before things got out of hand. They must be eBay-Ing the bits.

So for the three weeks it took for the state of North Carolina to send me the title I should not drive my car -- even home from the dealer!!! My insurance company put the car on my policy straight away and they know it takes time for the state to issue a title.

I just visited their website and it said they do not have any vehicles available. The website was extremely cheesy too.

**edit** I see this is an old thread and Straightline closed in July anyway.
