    Hi,
I've been a lurker for a few years, reading up on all things 355. I found this black on tan GTB on ebay and spoke to the guys selling it. They sent a scan of the work receipts, but they only have records from the last major done in early 2017 and some catylst work done in late 2017 after they bought it. They also sent a carfax and it's showing as a 6 owner car, with the last owner having it for 12 years. No tools are with it. No accidents according to carfax. From the pics it looks clean, they sent me a cold start video and it seems to run well.

I would obviously do a full PPI at a place on Long Island before I bought the car, just figured I'd ask the F-chat community.

    Thanks,
    Chris

No pictures of the engine bay? If this looks spotless, it may give some clues as to how well the car has been maintained.

It looks like the previous owner has taken care of the notorious sticky panels, although I don't know why he didn't clean up the leather on the centre console (The black smudges are a sign that the panels have been sticky at one point).
In the front luggage compartment, I see an aftermarket Kenwood CD stacker taking up space. The Kenwood was probably too big to fit in the usual place. I'm not sure why the dust cover for the (old) CD stacker is folded out like that. Is it hiding anything? Also, there is a button missing on the (old) CD stacker cover (but easily replaced).
The leather tie down strap seems to be missing from the luggage compartment (or perhaps sitting under the grey pouch for the tyre inflator (?))?

The leather looks really good, although there are no good pictures of the dash (a known problem area). I also see a loose bit of leather trim under the handbrake.
The paintwork probably needs a good buffing.

Pity. It makes it hard to figure out what and what hasn't been done to the car over the years and what might need doing in the future. Maybe previous owners didn't want to scare the newer owners with the cost of maintenance.

It looks like this car has sold. I wonder if the new owner is on F-chat and I wonder what it sold for.
