When I was a teenager, my grandmother became good friends with Luigi’s sister, Terezena (I probably misspelled that one), and also befriended Luigi himself. I was fortunate enough to get to have dinner with him on several occasions, and I have a few items of memorabilia from him. I was wondering if anyone else had a collection of memorabilia from Luigi Chinetti.

The coolest thing as a teenager was the fact that Luigi stored a few cars in my grandmother’s garage for a number of years. One of the cars was an F1 car from one of the championship years, but he most significant cars stored there were the “Marion”, better known as the NART Spider and the 365P Tri-Posti.

I believe it was knowing Mr. Chinetti which has led to my adult obsession with Ferraris.

I have a few things..... all from when I used to visit him at his home in CT. I lived in Stamford at the time. He helped me with one of my limited edition model runs. I truly enjoyed my time with him.

I always got a kick out of the fact that he had all these beautiful cars stored around CT but drove an old American station wagon.
