Although technically not an F355---a few more of mine from different angles with the tint--Mine is 30% tint with a factory 4% window for 26% total.....

I stumbled across this for 355's, though I can't imagine why anyone would do it.. Tinting looks great in my opinion, but to me this is silly.

Had mine (348) fully tinted when I got the car. I ended up removing the side windows tinting but left the quarter windows and rear windscreen tinted - looks much nicer and is legal. Make sure you check with the locals about legal tinting levels and windows.

 

If you decide to go ahead with tinting your car, be prepared to pay extra to have that wrap-around rear window done. The first few places I took mine flat out refused to tint the rear window, saying they couldn't get all the way back into the corners of it. I finally found a place to do it, but they had to remove the window in order to tint it on the bench, then re-install it on the car. As you can imagine, this cost more than the average tint job. Fortunately, though, they didn't mess anything up (it was, in fact, a high-end tint shop accustomed to dealing with expensive cars) and I am extremely happy with the look of the car. Overall, I think the 355 looks fantastic with a light or medium tint, but just be prepared to pay. Good luck.

When I had my rear 348 window done, they did it in-car and it was one piece tint.

So I am sure it can be done properly, in-car for a reasonable price.

My car was tinted for a 'normal price' and I got VERY dark tint. I was extremely happy with their work.

 

Looks like I got the "ferrari discount"... glad it worked better for you PAP. Anyway, I think the cars look great with tint, and it does offer some degree of UV protection for the interior. Good luck, and tell the shop to do like PAP's and not remove the rear window.

Yep. Cars look great and the tint helps protect the interior when out in the sun and A/C is cooler in summer.

355dreamer--what percent tint to you have on your car? Also, what kind of tires do you have in that pic? Your car looks great!

 

I didn't do it, but I suspect it is 50%. There is no tint on the rear window which helps lighten things up. Thanks for the compliment!

I have a black spider with a tan interior. Does anyone have a pic with with a black top and tinted windows?

Also, I like the black rims on the yellow car. I'm wondering what that would look like on mine... or is that too black?

Yea, that yellow car with black wheels is off the hook!!!
Take a look at Daniel's(Ricambi) car--It is black 348 with black CH wheels and looks very good....
