I have a Verizon LG Camera phone right now, and its great. Service is awesome! I am looking for a phone with more things available on it though. Example: E-mail, web, organizer, calender, etc etc. Anyone have a t-mobile sidekick II? How is it? How is service? I am from Wayne NJ, about 20 minutes from NYC.

    Thanks guyz!

Friend has it and is very happy with it. He upgraded from the original and says that all the issues have been ironed out. It does not have bluetooth and a media slot. Also, I find it virtually impossible to surf normal websites on those tiny screens, so that feature is not a plus for me. Those are the reasons I am not getting it.

I need bluetooth for wireless synch with multiple computers, a satnav module I intend to get, and of course, the cordless headsets. Sidekick II does not have it.

Sidekick II also does not have a media slot. I need a phone with a media slot so I can carry my information with me even if I don't access it on the phone. Stuff like MS Office files, etc. And for the stuff that is accessible on the phone, such as pictures and music, I don't want to be limited by the phone's memory.

I had an XDA11 but found the lack of a keypad annoying. It was also a bit too wide and therefore uncomfortable to hold. Further, the user interface was terrible--there were too many features and not enough buttons and it got in the way of making a phone call quickly.

Now I have a European edition tri-band i-mate sp3i on order. It's got a media slot (ordered a 512 mb mini-SD card for it) and bluetooth and a keypad and is not very big. It also comes with wifi and games and a bunch of other stuff that I don't want, but the key features that I do want are all there.

Edit:Our puppy chewed up the wife's cell phone so now there's just a spring poking out where the antenna used to be...it looks really funny:) So I just ordered one of these...it's GSM and has a speakerphone and very poor quality camera. Buying it more for the nifty gimmick factor than anything else.
