Gerry D. I agree with you on some fronts. I've installed countless exhaust systems in BMWs. The most popular of which being replacements for the e46 M3. On that particular car, things run the gamut. Almost all of them have their faults. Dinan, the most respected company, has an exhaust for that car which is a huge disappointment in design, but the quality is decent. the best I've seen was from a company I never heard of. BUT, that is rare. Supersprint, another respected name for exhaust in the BMW world, makes one that barely fits and the quality isn't anything to brag about. My point is that just because it is expensive, doesn't mean it is great. Obviously Tubi and Capistro have good names for good reason. However it is not that daunting of a task to buy one, copy it, and sell it on the market under a different name. Most likely this exhaust is made in China. Things made in China are similar to getting paint jobs in Mexico. For the most part they all suck; but I've seen some amazing paint jobs come from south o da border. It all depends on who is doing it and what the customer spends. That being said, if I can get this exhaust for that price, and it has a 1yr. guarantee, it becomes intriguing to say the least regardless of the result -- its got a guarantee . . .
I heard the quality of the stainless is suspect so someone needs to buy one and let us know. That is cheapo price[/quote] I purchased a Nouvalari Engineering exhaust and cats for my 348 and love the performance and sound. No installation or quality issues either!!!
