488 Anyone here trade in a 488 for F8 at Long Island Ferrari? I got it!!

Moving FC boards. Got bit by the Ferrari bug last year when I picked up my 1st, a fantastic F430 spider. Fell in with the wrong group of local Ferrari guys and this week I picked up a 2016 488 out of Long Island Ferrari. My salesperson told me it was traded when owners F8 arrived. This being a small community, curious if it was someone on this board. Car is being shipped to Chicago and will arrive on Tues. Feel like a kid at Christmas, literally could not sleep last night thinking about it. I have owned multiple 911 variants and raced a few of them but a modern 488 heading my way is exciting. All i have right now are dealer pics, will have Chicago pics next week. I have read almost every thread on FC about the 488 and feel like i am ready . Car is CPO and warrantied for another 2 yrs, only 4900 miles and all the options I was looking for

The side story, I went to the dealer launch of the 296 last week with the intention of putting down a deposit and getting in line for 24-36 months. And then I got up close and personal with it. Was not in my wheelhouse. I spied a 488 in the corner of the showroom and dragged the wife over for a closer look. Maybe it was the wine or the disappointment I felt with the 296 but the die was cast... Chicago Ferrari prices are very high, took looking outside the midwest to find a well optioned, low mile reasonably priced car, i moved fast. Look forward to learning and sharing on this section if FerrariChat as I did on the 430 board
