Anyone here w a converted manual 599?

I was trying to get in touch with owners of converted 599s for two reasons:

1) What did you elect for with programing? OEM or Trev's (corrected) ECU maps?

2) Did you use an OEM or replica/reproduction shift gate? I ask as supposedly several 599s used OEM 550/575 shift gates in their conversion as they (used to be) much more readily available given it was standard fit on the 550B. The only difference is the 550/575 gate has an angled reverse while the 599 version has a straight reverse.

If you used P/N 177023 (OEM 550/575 shift gate with the pattern, not horse), did you have any issue with the angled reverse in a 599? FWIW, I have a new/NOS OEM 599 shift gate with the pattern P/N 241666 (aka the type used on manual 599's with the carbon package) and am open to trade as well.
