    Im looking to have a car show at UW Eau Claire at some point within the school year and just checking in to see if any cars are in the area.

    What are you looking for? If F-cars only, it will be a small show, IMO.

    I figured. Im from milwaukee and I can tell its night and day as far as car culture goes. Im a student here on campus and (very) recently started a car club in hopes to get more students involved with and excited about cars. So far, Im struggling to gain much interest. Many students here seem to think that anything above an acura is a "status symbol" and is a waste of money. Because of this, I was hoping to throw a campus car show to open up the idea that a nice car is a feat of engineering and technology, and something to be appreciated. With that said, anything tasteful will do nicely for the show.

    Maybe you should see if an already existing show or club would meet on campus. I would think there should be parking lots that would be attractive. Administration needs to be on board before you could recruit clubs/cars/shows, wouldn't they?

    Ive already been in contact with administration and they 100% approve. It helps when the administrator of events is a car enthusiast as well haha. I also have full permission and a parking lot at my disposal. Ill be at the chippewa cars and coffee to see what I can pull from there but the only other group seems to be more for the "stance" type of car. With that said ive seen some nicer cars while out driving( 911 turbos, classic BMWs) but I have no way of being in contact with the owners.
