Anyone in here have an old set of spark plug wires laying around with the boots? I will pay money for old wires. I am looking for a set to make some wires. Let me know.

Great question.... I just found out today that the 'miss' I started hearing yesterday was a burned spark plug wire on #4. The rest can't be far behind. It's a 1992 348 with the original wires... Does any one thing it is out of bounds to take good quality wiring, and using the same boots and connectors make a new set?

I have an old set, but I am in UK.
I also got a new set made up for my 348 for £75 from http://www.fastlaneauto.co.uk/
they work a treat, only issue was a cover to fit into the cam cover hole, we found a square one in the end that works well and doesn't look too bad at all. These are obviously a service replacement item after 5 years use or so, especially if you track the car and get some heat going. Often the source of a misfire even if resistance etc measures OK when cold.

They also did a nice set for my Mondial that included the suppressor in the lead, again worked really well.

Your welcome, we worked for a while on getting the right resistance set up with a decent lead, they certainly have done the job for me.

Yes I'm sure if you referred to a 348, only 1 he has done and we spent a while talking it through.
