I know Frank is in Germany at the moment taking care of his transmission, but I'm in LA for a few weeks and wanted to know if any Maseratisti in the area would like to show off their cars, or just share a drink or two and swap stories.

Will be bouncing between LA and Palm Springs most of the time I'm here. Also planning on visiting the Riverside Speedway auto museum while I'm here, in case anyone would like to join me there.

Send me a PM if interested!

Have quite a few cars, many Maserati including an A6G, 2 Indys, 3 3500GTs, a Ghibli, Khamsin, Mexico, Bora, Mistral coupe & spyder, 2 Meraks, a Kyalami, 2 Quattroporte 1s, a 3200GT and a heap o' Quattroporte 3s. Also one unidentified model, maybe someone can tell me what it is, it's the dark blue 4 door beside the dark blue Indy. Oh yes, they have an MC12 too!

Being completely in vacation mode, as I went around taking snapshots, I completely forgot to take pics of the VINs for identification. Oops.

I was a bit disappointed in the quality of the restorations, while seemingly solid enough they didn't really seem top notch quality. According to the docent who was on duty, cars are bought and restored, but never ever sold.

The first set of pictures is from the actual collection/display, the second batch is from the workshop/storage area.

Minor quibbles aside, it was Maserati heaven :)

The four door is a Quattroporte Prototype by Frua. Much more about it here:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/maserati/388913-quattroporte-frua.html

The white Quattroporte in the exhibition is 107.012.

Do you have any more pictures of it? Would be great for the Quattroporte 107 registry www.tipo107.com

Is there anybody out there having the number of the white Quattroporte 107 Series II in the Riverside workshop? Thanks.

It looks a little bit like a 4 door Kyalami. Slightly.

Yes, I have more pictures. PM me your email and I'll send you what I have.

I am leaving Norway for California tomorrow and will be checking this museum out myself. Really looking forward to it!

I sent a few emails to the Riverside Speedway Auto Museum, regarding the two Meraks that they have in their collection.

Unfortunately, I never got an answer.

If anyone passes by the museum, I'd appreciate the VIN numbers and photos of their two Meraks.

    Thank you.
