Looking to talk to and see some Ferraris in my area. Preferbly 308 348 or 355 owners. Want to see cars in my price range up close and get a feel for how the owners like them. there are none in my town that I know of.
    Thanks Mike

Of course there are no ferraris in MA or RI! What were you thinking :)
Just teasing. But seriously there are Ferrari owners everywhere, in the last places you would expect

Yeah, come on over to NE - plenty of us over there. However since its January and the time all of us are trying to remember WHY we live in NE, there wont be much you'll see for the next 2 or 3 months. However feel free too ask away in the meantime :)

For some reason the New England thread has been reduced to a single page and the North Shore thread is not shown - Do a search for "Boston's North Shore Bi-Weekly F-Drive" for our good weather get togethers . We meet at Starbuck's Rte 1A in North Beverly. Pictures, directions etc in the thread.

Michael, check out Bay State Motorsports, www.baystatemotorsports.com they always have a few Ferrari's in stock and they know a TON of owners/collectors in MA. I do some web site work for them and John down there is an awesome guy and full-on Ferrari fanatic.

If you want to whet your appetite for fcars on a winters day take a ride over to Independent Ferrari Service in Easton and introduce yourself to John Tirrell the owner. He's a great source of knowledge. I got my car from his recommendation.

I'm in Easton as well and while I don't have a car you're interested in perhaps we can hookup for some fchat events next season.

And while you are there you can catch a glimpse of a real Ferrari sitting on the middle lift.....just kidding, but admire the 330 spending the winter in the shop and you might enlarge your selection.

I have a couple Ferrari's located at my house in Tewksbury, MA. A smaller budget 308GT4 and a larger budget '91 Testarossa. I do turn them on and move them back and forth outside during the winter when it is dry enough. I am a 'new' Ferrari owner of only 1 year and always looking for more F-cars to buy. ;)

Thanks guys. I think I will goe to Independent ferrari and talk with them. I suspect I should probably get to know them very well. If any of you local guys know of any nice 348s, I am in the market. I just sold my Shelby Cobra Daytona replica for a tidy sum and want a new toy.

Some interest. How much? How do they compare in service cost and ease of repair to the 348? After reading through this web site, I am confident I can service the car myself. In fact I cant believe how easy it is to do a clutch on one of those.

I'd guess low 60's or so. The car is at a place called Premier on rt28 about a mile down from the rt106&rt28 intersection. If your roots are deep around here you'd know it as Tech Auto back in the late 70's and 80's. They've always sold and consigned fine cars through the years. They have a health inventory. A Mondial too in fact.

As far as service, on the level, the Tr would be more costly. But if you have the facilities then cost of ownership is relavent to what you feel comfortable doing yourself. Parts prices may be somewhat higher than what you're used to.

Prova. I remember tech Auto. I used to drive down there and stare in the window at all the cool car. Very small showroom if I remember right. They were just up the road from Bettencourt Honda. I have been in Norton most of my life. I know the area well.
