    I do hate to ask but several photos and a salesmans word are all I have to go on at the moment of a cars condition. A proper PPI is scheduled for Monday/Tuesday but if it's clearly not up to snuff cosmetically I would rather know ahead of time.

    Car is located @ Clear Lake.

    Happy to compensate for your time if you're local and wouldn't mind spending 2 minutes just looking over the car. Kindly PM if you may be available.

    Ive already seen it if its the one at the BMW dealership. It looked to be in good shape.

    What a class act you Houston folks are.

    I cannot thank Mark5scuba enough for going to check out the car for me today at Gartnett Motorcars. Without going into all the specifics, the car isn't even worth a PPI. A real dog if you ask me, although you wouldn't be able to tell from the website photos. Mark was kind enough to not only take 20+ photo of the car, but also then chat to me about it on the phone afterwards.

    Mark is an enthusiast through and through and a great chat to boot. You certainly have a heap of good karma coming your way my friend.

    If you had told us what dealership it was at, I would have advised you to skip it altogether.

    Very true, Garnett sales crap that I wouldnt take for free....The lowest of the low if you ask me. Has a lot full of lemon law buybacks and every other reject you can imagine. Sold a BMW to a friend last year that was nothing but issue after issue after purchase but before purchaser was told car was made mint from factory. Avoid Garnett Motors and skip over any car they have advertised.

    Ryan Garnett is also up front with the cars he has being buy backs. I've had experience with him and he's shown to be one of the more honest guys in the business. He might not sell perfect cars, but he will always disclose what he KNOWS is wrong with one.

    I have just scene this post. Apologies for not helping sooner.
    If anyone needs me to look at anything at Garrnett I work 32 seconds away from this dealer. I know nothing about them besides the owner is Ryan and he started in a small building in La Porte TX and now moved to Clear Lake. He also has 100% feedback on EBAY.
    His inventory is constantly changing mostly with BMW and Mercedes, cars I'm not interested in. He does get Lambo's, Ferraris, Aston's from time to time. I guess his cars have to come form auction's or previous customers? Houston is FULL of high end and Exotics so you never know.

    Let mw know is anyone needs any help on the Southeast side of Htown.

    I drove this 355 that was for sale at Advantage Clear Lake if this is the one you speak of.
    Nice optioned car. Sheilds, Challenge Grill, Red Calipers. Car drove great but I was EXTREMELY surprised how rough the gear changes were in Automatic mode. I got them down to 46K cash but it was still to much for that car. I needed a major and a handful of other items, plus incomplete service history and had paint work. Top also has issues.

    Like I said, if anyone needs help on this side of Houston I would be glad to help.

    Sorry, way too far away to be of much assistance....I would only accept 23 seconds away or less.

    We Houston people need to do things better than everyone else.
