Anyone in St. Louis down for a get together?

This weather sux, can't get the Fcar out! Guess I'll just have to sit in the garage with the engine running....with the garage door open of course!

 

Are P-cars allowed? If so I may be interested.

 

of course they would be, i was thinking along the lines of dinner somewhere one night...definitely not the best conditions to go driving right now...

 

do we have to bring a nice car? for dinner i would like Mortons,its close to home and Scotts buying!

 

Just put Trixie on jackstands for the winter, but I'm up for a gtg if I'm available...

 

eh, you give me the fat cab, and in exchange, i'll buy you mortons, how about that? i'll be back in town tomorrow, next week sometime sound good?

I got the flu for X_mas, so I'm still in recovery mode.

 

bump, drinks? coffee? casino? maybe another nice weekend coming up for a drive? just trying to come up with things that will tie us over til we can drive again,

 

Took a spirited drive Friday evening before the sun went down. May be around next weekend 19th or 20th and Im off the 21st? Lets see what the weather does..maybe a Monday daytime drive into the Lou and check out the new Laumiere (sp) Casino? Anyone?

May take the car up towards Alton as well to watch bald eagles and get lunch.

 

i haven't been to the new lumiere(sp) place yet, sounds like it's pretty nice. i'll be at the winter warmup on monday, but i'd be down to meet some people there later on in the day.

I'll watch the weather. I may be nasty Monday. So far I heare the new casino is nice and the food is good. I also hear the phrase the "loosest slots," may not be everyone's experience. Apparently my friends feel they are paying for the new buildings and not getting any return! Thats just their opinion in comparison to the other casinos in St. Louis. But since were from Missouri lets say, Show me!

Wish I saw your post earlier, wife and I had to run some errands and took the car out for a drive, man how it loves this cold weather....tonight supposed to get nasty but if they don't salt the roads or the nasty doesn't show up, maybe we can get together this week.....

About 1:30 I fired up the car and had just pulled her out to warm up when all the sudden I got deluged with snow flakes! Needless to say I warmed her up and then just put her right back in the garage! Ugh!

I jumped in the pick-up truck and headed out. Just when I got into washington the snow stopped and its been fine the rest of the day. my luck! Oh well got some errands run in the truck today. We'll see maybe this weekend 26 & 27 will be good.

 

Is anyone going to be at the Food & Wine event at the Chase Park Plaza this weekend? Miriam and I will be there on Saturday and staying over that night.
