Anyone install European style horn on new generation cars?

    Was wondering if any of you had installed those Italian European style horns on their modern Ferrari. It’s the horns/trumpets of the older Ferrari which to me is synonymous with the brand. I would like to purchase one for the 812 and have it installed. If any of you have purchased one, which one and where did you buy it. Thanks everyone

    Hello,

    I may have one installed on a 2015 458 Italia… The original (as supplied in 2015) horn was removed and the new (old style) horn was installed by the dealer. I did not own the car at the time of installation.

    I will make a recording tomorrow and post it. The dealer said is was the older style horn that Ferrari used on their classic cars. Perhaps it’s what you’re looking for, we shall see…

    This is what you need, get an independent to fit it.[ not sure your dealer would like to fit it if in warranty]. Fiamm made the air horns for the old Ferraris, they were different but this is as near as you can get with new horns.

    Thanks guys for the suggestions, the dealer said he would install them but I may be breaking some rules of our municipality. Not to worried about that

    Yes I put the old air horns on my 360. I had them in my 456M and really hated the new ones.

    Technically illegal because they don't speak quickly enough, but how would they catch you?

    I've had a total of 7 new Ferraris, and have installed the FIAMM horns below on all six. My daughter said "Those are irritating" and I said "That is what they are for!" The only sad thing is seeing the front come off of your brand new car as you take delivery. :)
