    Amazing...

What ever happened to the Michelotti design house?

Didn't catch this post until right now, Richard has MUCH better shots of the car then me, the car is/was parked in a tight garage with horrible lighting... If you'd still like them please PM me your email!

Great photos - this is a really cool looking car. What is great about it is the styling cues from half a dozen other cars that are in this one.

I'd drive it with pride....but its the wrong color for my collection!!!
    Cheers

PSK, here is that blue gem. It is Cisitalia 202B #334513/105 with body work by Franco Scaglione when he worked at Carrozzeria Alemano. One of the few examples with a supercharger!

Kfhenry, the Michelotti 330 was originally metallic blue, so maby it would work with your decor.. heh

If anyone has information on this 330, please feel free to share :)

    Gorgeous little Cisitalia as well.

    Cheers

Nice pics Richard. For those interested the S/N is 9083.

The Cisitalia was for sale at Symbolic earlier this year. It indeed has a large belt-driven, mechanical supercharger. From originally 40 bhp the 1100 cc FIAT engine produces 70 bhp. It also has a 6-speed alloycased semiautomatic gearbox, very innovative in these days. It's a one off car.

According to http://www.classicdriver.com/uk/magazine/3500.asp?id=11731 the 330 GT Michelotti Coupe sold last August ('03) for a mere US$ 143,000.

Having just got the 348 I don't figure on much chance of re-shaking the sofa cushions for another 143 G's...

Love the car - would love to see it in blue...

    Cheers
    Kevin

What chassis type was the Michelotti Coupe built on. I thought it's interesting it has power steering.

My search indicates a Series II 330 GT 2+2 but I am certainly no expert.

I like the way you think and I do need a 12-cylinder so it would really be wrong not to.... :)

    Cheers

It looks like the rear axle may have been moved up to give it that strange stance.
